Generic RolePlay DARKRP rules
The following is subject to change at any time, failure to comply with the rules will result in punishment from staff.
General Rules
- No RDM (Random Death Match), this means to kill someone without any roleplay reason.
- Do not abuse arrest tools (or RDA).
- Don’t abuse adverts, meaning using adverts as a way of communication, advert is meant for advertisement of business, or raid/mug.
- Don’t raid on jobs that don’t start with raid tools.
- Don’t failrp, this is considered but not limited to; not abiding cooldowns, not following fearrp, or not following class rules
- Do not self supply as an arms dealer, you will receive a punishment based on the severity your self supplying
- During a mug, you may kill the person mugging you
- You cannot mug, or raid as a police officer, civilian, or arms dealer.
- You may not add more than two actions in a single advert bind (such as RAID/ASSIST)
- You may tell players to go away from your base/establishment by saying /advert Go away 1/2/3 , if they do not go away by the third warning, you may kill them (abuse will result in punishment)
- If you accidentally hit a bind, or break an advert rule, you are required to advert VOID in the chat, VOID in chat means that the action voided is no longer in roleplay, example; voiding a raid because you accidentally hit a raid bind. (Do not abuse)
Basing Rules
- No blackout bases, this means there is no way to distinguish the walls from the floor
- No trap bases. This means making rooms designed to kill the player.
- No crouch bases, this is making the player crouch through a section of your base.
- Keypads must be easy to find, and must be directly next or on the object it is meant to open.
- All keypads should be on both sides of their door, this does not include windows.
- Do not no-collide on a one-way prop.
- To shoot a raider during a raid, both players must be able to see each other clearly so the raider can fight back.
- All bases with corridors must be two players wide.
- A base can have a max of 4 fading doors 5 if its a megabase, not including windows, and vaults
- A vault can only carry entities.
- If you own a megabase, all doors inside the megabase must be owned.
- KOS signs may not be placed when there is a building sign present
- KOS signs may not KOS a specific job (eg: KOS police).
- KOS signs can KOS specific people. Those must be listed.
- KOS signs may not have unreasonable KOS’ such as “Kos if annoying” or “Kos all reasons”
- If you have a building sign, you may not put entities in your base.
- KOS lines cannot be an outrageous size (ex; the entire sidewalk) KOS lines should be at a maximum 3-4 players big.
- You may not build bases on the sidewalk or in the middle of a road.
- You cannot use invisible props
Raid Rules
- Cooldowns between raids are 5 minutes, however the cooldown for raids is 15 minutes if you wish to raid the same base twice in a row.
- PD raids and bankraids have cooldowns of 15 minutes
- To start a raid, you must do /advert Raid , if you die, the raid ends, a raid cannot last more than ten minutes, if it goes on for longer, than the raid ends.
- To start a PD/Bank raid, you must do /advert PDRAID/BANKRAID
- To assist in a raid you must do /advert assist , in the chat, the raider may decline your assist however.
- Only jobs that start with raiding tools may raid
- If you die during a raid, you may not re-enter your base or defend it until the raid is over
- Bank security who die during a bank raid may not defend or re-enter the bank until the bank raid is over
- PD/BANK raids will automatically end after 15 minutes, or everyone in the raid dies
- PD/BANK raids can only happen when there are at least 3 police officers online (However there must be at least 5 police officers for all loot to be available)
Job Rules
Below are the job specific rules, please read them carefully.
Theif/Raider jobs
- Thief and raider jobs are any jobs that are allowed to mug or raid
- Follow raid rules at all times
- You may mug people for a minimum of 1k, and a maximum of 15k.
- Initiate a mug through advert; example: /advert MUG! Give me 15k or die!
- Mug cooldown is 2 minutes, 8 minutes if you want to mug the same person twice.
Civilian Jobs
- Civilian jobs count as any job under the civilian category.
- You may not raid as a civilian
- You cannot mug as a civilian
Hobo Rules
- You may not own a gun as a hobo
- You may not own doors as a hobo
- You may not mug as a hobo
- You may not raid as a hobo
- You can make homes on the road or sidewalk.
Arms Dealer rules
- Don’t self supply
- You may not raid
- You may not mug
- You may force people to pay a maximum of 15% more than the actual weapon/shipment costs.
Police rules
- You may only raid with a valid reason; such as suspecting illegal things are in someone’s base.
- You may make checkpoints along the roads to search people
- You may not commit crimes.
Mayor rules
- You may not make absurd laws such as “no jaywalking”.
- Follow all rules for police officers.
- You cannot make drugs, money printers, or mugging/raiding legal.
Guard rules
- You can be paid to guard bases. You may charge a maximum of 10k
- Bank guards may only guard the bank
Cultist rules
- You may /advert SACRIFICE to be able to kill 3 people
- You are KOS upon adverting sacrifice
- Cultist god is KOS at all times
Sewer monster rules
- You are KOS at all times
- To go onto surface, you must /advert Surface Raid
- You can kill any humans on sight.
- If all sewer monsters die you must advert Surface raid over.
- There is a cooldown of 2 minutes between each surface raid
VIP role rules
- Legal weed shop owners may only own 4 weed plants
- Black market dealer must follow dealer rules.
- Doomguy can KOS cultists at all times (however cannot spawn kill them)
- VIP jobs should follow the rules of the category they are in
Hitman rules
- Hitmen must announce when they accept a hit, must advert /advert HIT ACCEPTED
- Hitmen may not raid unless they spawn with raid tools.
- Upon killing the person of the hit, you must advert “HIT COMPLETE”
- Upon dying you must advert “HIT FAILED”
Mafia/Irish Mob rules
- They follow raid rules, and mug rules.
- They are commanded by their respective bosses.
